Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III was born in the town of Boone Trail, North Carolina, to parents Charles Lincoln II and his mother, Sue Capps. His birthday is June 1, 1978. When he was only two years old, his parents separated. His mother moved in with his school sweetheart Jimmy Capps. The couple then moved and settled in Buies Creek.
