When Carli heard about the news at her parents’ place in Santa Monica, she broke down. Her parents’ neighbours confirmed her wailings. In hindsight, when she was interviewed by LA Times about the incident later, she said, “I’ll never, ever forget that call.” The pain and anguish she had from that incident traumatised her for a long time.

An autopsy was carried out seeing the unusual nature of Tyler’s death. The results showed that Tyler died of a drug overdose. His body had high amounts of fentanyl, oxycodone, oxymorphone. He was able to conceal his abuse of drugs well.
After his death, investigations revealed that former Angeles Media Relations director Eric Kay was the supplier of opioids to Tyler. Kay himself is an addict. Skaggs’ death is unfortunate.
